CRITTENDEN ARTS COUNCIL

 

CAC produces plays and theatre events for all ages. They also sponsor artist exhibits and support arts in the public school systems in Crittenden County. Their major fundraising event each year is the Televised Auction which generates a significant portion of the revenues required for this organization.

ESPERANZA BONANZA

 

This three-day celebration (normally the first weekend of May) offers a variety of entertainment for the whole family. It includes carnival rides, live music, a golf tournament, barbecue cook-off competition, Cajun style crawfish, and lots more. Call the Marion Chamber of Commerce at 739-6041 to confirm dates and obtain additional information.

 

TASTE OF THE TOWN

 

Here’s your chance to check out all those restaurants you’ve been meaning to try. Mix and mingle with local restaurateurs and taste their products. Normally held in August, this event is located in the Southland Greyhound Park Event Center. For more information, call 735-8814.

Dickens of a Christmas Annual Tree Lighting Festival—at Worthington Park in West Memphis. Normally held at the end of November. For more information, contact W.M. Dept. of Tourism at 732-77598.
